This position will perform in a senior level capacity to create and maintain a professional image of Palmetto Primary Care Physicians by providing prompt, courteous and efficient service to patients, visitors, employees, telephone callers, and vendors. Answering phones and relaying messages and performing various administrative duties. All employees are expected to be knowledgeable and compliant with the practices values of compassion, dignity, excellence, integrity and teamwork.
Job Functions:
Greet patients/family and the public with optimism.
Build professional relationship with patients and their families and other visitors, and the office staff.
Answer and properly route calls, schedule appointments.
Notify management of any/all maintenance failures or issues that arise in the building and on the premises in a timely manner.
Maintain reception area in a neat and orderly fashion
Maintain confidentiality, follow HIPAA regulations.
Take direction and initiate actions (cross/additional training) that will allow the assumption of cross-functional duties to ensure seamless patient/visitor care
Proactively seeks out additional work during down time.
Consistently demonstrate ability to respond to changing situations in a flexible manner in order to meet current needs, such as reprioritizing work as necessary. Minimize non-productive time and fill slow periods with activities that will enable you to prepare to meet the future needs of theEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
