## Position Description
Provide component management of Boeing Desktop Infrastructure tools which are used to facilitate Enterprise-Wide Desktop Business Processes such as user Migration, Desktop Configuration management, Software Delivery, Operating System updates, etc. Provide design/build and Tier 3 incident and problem support throughout component lifecycle. Performs product and component management to ensure technical viability and cost-effectiveness from the point where it is evaluated through implementation and support, to retirement. Uses technical expertise to help business partners and others by answering technical questions regarding the usage, trouble-shooting and functionality of delivery systems products to ensure effective implementation and usage of delivery system products. Applies knowledge of computing systems to choose appropriate troubleshooting techniques to resolve complex problems.
Skills & Knowledge:
Required job knowledge of: Windows operating system knowledge (both server and workstation), SQL and IIS (Internet Information Services).
Understanding of the registry and the system architecture, working knowledge of WMI, NT network security, and knowledge of Windows services.
Familiar with windows network protocols, application installation knowledge (MSI). Includes: Installation and configuration, queries and stored procedures, database warehousing and database management.
Expectation for skills in programming knowledge which includes: Web, ASP, Visual Basic, or any windows system level programming.
Experience in desktop support at a system level.
Bachelors degree in an IT related field of study preferred.

This position requires that you work out of Charleston, South Carolina. Do you currently reside in the Charleston area (where relocation would not be required) or are you willing to relocate at your own expense?

## Typical Education/Experience
Technical bachelor's degree and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or a Master's degree with typically 3 or more years' or a PhD degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study.
