, DR system, Quality log) Act as a quality resource for High Performance Work Teams which includes leading troubleshooting and problem-solving activities for quality related issues in the area Conduct training and audits as required Perform Capability/Gage R&R Studies and other data analysis Develop and maintain Quality Plan work instructions Work with Quality Engineer and Manufacturing Engineer to reduce in process and final inspection time Program and troubleshoot CMMs Fulfill the requirements of the Quality Policy and Quality Management System Ensure all safety procedures, practices, and regulations are followed before, during, and after the process to foster a positive safety culture by having a safety-first mindset and approach during execution of activities Based on the nature of the essential functions associated with this role, GreenWood has designated this as a safety-sensitive position.
Position Responsibilities - Nonessential/Other Perform other duties as assigned Essential Skills and Experience High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution required Minimum 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment working in a quality role Minimum 1 year experience in GD&T application and blueprint reading Minimum 1 year experience with inspection equipment and gaging methods such as calipers, micrometers, etc.
Experience demonstrating successful support of a positive safety culture Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation(s) Beneficial Skills and Experience 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment working in a quality role CMM programming/troubleshooting experience with WinCMES, Calypso, or CMM Manager Experience in troubleshooting problems using quality tools such as statistics, 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone diagrams, etc.
ASQ Certified Quality Technician Technical degree in manufacturing, machining, or related field PC computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, Outlook, etc.
