The LPN/LVN is an integral part of the interdisciplinary treatment team working under the guidance of a Registered Nurse.
The LPN/LVN implements therapeutic interventions developed by the treatment team and tracks patient progress towards treatment plan goals.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Provides direct care to patients on assigned unit.
Administers and documents prescribed medications and treatments.
Establishes therapeutic rapport with the patient, provides support and utilizes approved crisis intervention techniques.
