Experience:
o 24 months of role experience is required.
o 12 months of Surgical Intensive Care Unit experience is required.
o 3 months of experience with Meditech is preferred.
Requirements:
o Candidates must have a South Carolina license or compact license prior to placement start.
o This role may require floating to additional units and locations o Candidates must live at least 50 miles away from this facility in order to be considered a traveler when applying for this role.
o COVID vaccination required for onboarding.
Religious and medical declinations accepted.
Pre-employment modules may be required for this role.

Additional Information:
Candidates must be willing to care for COVID-19 patients.
No Block Scheduling requests Any special scheduling requests must be made with Manager upon arrival at facility.
Traveler shall be scheduled in accordance with facility policy and is expected to work every other weekend and Holidays in rotation with Hospital employees Must have the ability to care for 1 to 2 post op patient Scheduling requirements:
3 - 12 hour shifts per week to include every other weekend Requested Skill Set:
One previous successful travel nursing assignment, with 1 year in a Neuroscience or Neurosurgical ICU preferred comprehensive stroke center experience.
Must have aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage experience, with EVDs, bolts, (Codman) and Advanced Hemodynamics.
Advanced skills needed:
CRRT experience, Hypertonic and Hyperosmolar solutions experience, AVM experience, Lumbar Drain experience, Post-surgical craniotomy experience, Post endovascular treatment for ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke, EV1000 use, Phlebotomy, Nurses administer breathing treatments outside of the ICU (Respiratory treatments:
inhalers and nebulizers) Navy uniform Details:
